Who we are

Berke Haddock (Private) Limited is a family-owned agriculture and aquaculture company based at Village Began, near Jarwar, Tando Allahyar, Sindh, Pakistan. What we collect, and why

• Order details — your name, phone number, email, and delivery address, because without them we can't deliver food to you. If you pay by JazzCash or Easypaisa we also record the Transaction ID and the wallet number you paid from, so we can match your payment to your order.
• Account details — if you create an account, your email, an encrypted password, and the profile details you choose to save (name, phone, delivery address). Accounts are optional; you can always check out as a guest.
• Reviews — the name and text you submit with a product review, which are displayed publicly on the product page.
• On-device data — your shopping basket, wishlist, language choice (English/اردو/سنڌي), and cookie preference are stored in your own browser's local storage, on your device. They never leave it unless you place an order.

What we deliberately don't do

• We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Ever.
• We don't store card or wallet credentials — payments happen in your own JazzCash/Easypaisa app or in cash.
• We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
• We don't send marketing messages unless you subscribed to our newsletter, and every message includes a way out.

Where your data lives

Orders, accounts, and reviews are stored in our database hosted with Supabase (servers in the Asia-Pacific region), protected by row-level security so each customer can only access their own records. The website is served by Netlify. Both providers act as our data processors and cannot use your data for their own purposes.

WhatsApp

Much of our customer service happens on WhatsApp (0319 8303973). If you contact us there, your messages are handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy in addition to ours. We keep order-related chats so we can honour our freshness guarantee.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies and local-storage keys: your basket, your sign-in session (if you have an account), your language, and your cookie choice itself. Declining non-essential cookies via the banner does not affect your ability to shop.

How long we keep things

Order records are kept as long as we're required to for accounts and tax purposes. If you delete your account (or ask us to), we remove your profile and disconnect your order history from you, keeping only what the law requires us to retain.

Your rights

Email mehranyusufkhan@gmail.com from the address on your account and we will show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — normally within 7 days. No forms, no fees.

Children

Our store is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has created an account, tell us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
